To Native Americans "Rawah" meant "abundance." It's still true today. Rawah Guest Ranch is a special place 8,400 feet high in Colorado's Rocky Mountains, just south of the Wyoming border. A stunning spot in the secluded Laramie River Valley, it adjoins the 76,000-acre Rawah Wilderness Area with its snowcapped peaks and 200,000+ acres of Roosevelt National Forest. Our outstanding ranch staff of 22 welcomes a maximum of 32 guests each week, so you're sure to be well cared for! As far from towns as we are you won't meet many other people in our gorgeous neighborhood, but you're bound to get acquainted with some of our neighbors - moose, deer, elk, Bighorn sheep, Pronghorn antelope, coyotes, even the occasional bear.
We're extremely proud of what ranch expert Eugene Kilgore has to say in his book as he summarizes his Rawah Guest Ranch Review:
"This ranch is one of the best! A terrific combination of riding, fishing, hiking and Western hospitality."
And we're delighted to be featured in the book by Jay Paris and Carmi Zona-Paris
The 100 Best All-Inclusive Resorts of the World
You can be sure that we work very hard to make sure this is true for each and every guest, each and every week.
